heights becomes smaller behind the breakwater than at the offshore as shown in Fig.10. The graphic images can demonstrate the effect of breakwater.
Figure 11 shows the virtual image from the observer from the breakwater B1 in Fig.8. The effect of the breakwater is easily and clearly understood by applying the graphic system.
5.CONCLUSIONS
The following main conclusions are derived; (1)The virtual graphics system with five screens has been developed for the improvement of coastal disaster prevention technics.
(2)The virtual images of tsunami attack to a port is applicable to the alarm and refuge planning.
(3)The virtual images of sea waves and the expression of wave heights by the virtual senser are important to the constraction of human consious and safe port.
